Pretender? most of these guys are inactive fighters. Steve Forbes is like the and walter wright are like the only guys who are good and didnt take a five year hiatas.

or change it to crying fighters.i thought i was watching oprah or a lifetime movie with all the bawling they have had over the last two seasons.does someone have to burst into tears in every episode?can you imagine marvin hagler or rocky marciano crying in the ring of course not.

I love The Contender. I think NBC made a mistake canceling it last season. Glad that ESPN picked it up. I do miss the challenges they had to perform, but the lack of those pushes the action forward to the fights much faster. It has always been a good idea to include the segments with the boxers' family and friends--it shows that boxers are not the thugs the rest of the world makes us out to be.

Wow, I've never seen so many cry babies in one question. All three of you suck. The Contender is an excellent show, and I bet you that neither Forbes or Wright will win it all. K9 will beat Wright if he is not careful and Forbes wont make the finals.

I love watching the contender. I like to watch boxing, my husband was a boxer, but the contender brings in the families and makes it all that more interesting.

It is a great show and the opportunity and drama of the competition is very entertaining. I say it is titled correctly.

the boxers in the contender suck bigtime..........being the champion in a group of subpar fighters says nothing........pointless show, should be canceled.

That show is so stupid. It should be canceled. They slow down the punches to make just a jab look like a big shot.
