hes very quick and strong for the weight. he reminds me of tommy hearns but these fights are way to quick and look to easy for him. it reminds me of tyson when he used to stand off his stool and the other fighter would fall over. frank warren wraps him in cotton wool but i hope that he dosnt milk these small fights to long or frank will loose amir like he lost ricky hatton.

boxing's not like other sports...you lose once and it puts you back to where you started. They're just handling him very carefully. He's very young, only just come out of the amateur ranks and they're not going to put him in with some old bruiser until he's ready. The guy last night had a very good record. He wasn't a bum and a few people thought he might even cause an upset. On paper...it was a step up. Amir Khan was spectacular last night, so fast. and anyone that doesn't think so knows very little about boxing. I can think of half a dozen all time greats that didn't look as good as this at his age. It's so British isn't it, to slag 'em off when they're winning, slag 'em off when they're losing...if he was an American, he'd be an absolute hero by now.

He is being managed very well by Frank Warren, he is slowing people's expectation down so Amir does not fight a better opponent than he is not ready for.

the guy he fought was ranked above amir in the british rankings so on paper it looked like a competitive fight. . but Amir is so talented and so advanced for his years he made the guy look like nothing. . Amir is and will be a SUPERSTAR!!

If he's not careful he'll go the same way as Naseem Hamed win against carefully hand picked opponents but pay the price when fighting the best in the world! he should really take a step up in the class of his opponents, better to learn now rather than later! good luck to him though!

I think he is the BEST! and he's gorgeous to go with it. i love watching him fight. He's got a slight cockiness about him but that's what makes him.
I think he'll be world champion one day. He's gonna be a big name like Tyson-only better!
I can't believe how quick the fight was last night. WICKED!

it's time he fought somebody who can actually fight instead of the cannon fodder they're putting in the ring with him.
