I want to know what a boxer must do to move up a weight class and more importantly how can he keep the same speed when he does? I am curious about foods, supplements, and training drills for someone that fights professional. Thank you.

here's my question, and i know i'm gonna get bashed for it..life is short enough, why jeopardize it by letting some body hit you in the head for 10 rounds or so?...a female boxer just died recently in the ring, many more male boxers have died in the ring..I know,,steve irwin died doing what he loved, but he's just as dead....I'll hope for and settle with dying of old age with most of my facilities, after having enjoyed many years with family, friends and the world... so, go ahead, bashers, let me have it..tell me where i'm wrong...justify risking life's for others entertainment..

I would think that Ali would have vigorously attempted to stop his daughter, Laila, from pursueing a boxing career...same goes for Joe Frazier's kid...

I heard that he might fight again at Middleweight. If Shane Mosley, who really isn't even a true jr.middleweight, can ko him, how can he take a true middleweight punch? I love Vargas and he has given us many thrills in boxing, but i think he looks shot and should retire. What do you think?

Gonna handicap this one - the Coetzee that knocked out Dokes or the Holmes that lost to Spinks?

15 rounds - as that was the distance at the time.

Talk about a fight that most likely would've ended in a knock out! This would've be an exiciting action-packed fight while it lasted. Who Ko's Who? (can't see this going to a decision).

I think this would've been a great fight at 147. Both are fast, have decent power and have a lot of ring intelligence. who wins this fight?

I always thought Tua would be a world champion. I'd actually picked him to beat Lenox Lewis but he got spanked. I wonder what happened after that defeat? did he lose his drive to become champ? He has the name and the power to do it, and with the heavyweight division being what it is today, he could easily be champ. What's going on with Tua? And would you pick him over any of the soviet champs that reign right now?
