I would go for Roy Jones. Basically Jones's blistering speed at middleweight. Also he was bored at middleweight that is why he left. He fought the best 2 legends and future Hall of Famers. If his work later was Jones a bit deteriorated then at middleweight he was dangerousJones could knock someone out with either hand. Physically in terms of power Hagler was it, Jones has everything else as well as a good tactician and a boxer. Hagler loved to punch and traded a lot Jones would never, could never. In comparison with Hagler Jones is the better boxer and boxed more. If Leonard had a diputed decidion with him Jones would win. Look at wins over Toney and Hopkins. Also Jones size and strength could deal with Hagler toe to toe unlike Leonard who was overmatched being the shorter smaller man. Jones is slicker with incredible ring generalship and savvy. He also has a good record with rugged tough fighters like Hagler.

A comparison of records shows that by average statisticalyy speaking Jones could take Hagler or make him sweat to at the very least a close split decision win. In terms of styles making fights looking at the Hagler V Leonard and the Hagler V Hearns fightshe would not have beaten Jones

Hagler is a legend but he made a career of fighting blown up welterweights. duran, hearns and leonard all started out at 147 or lower. hagler fought at 160.

roy jones jr. competition may not have been legends but they were true middleweights. roy's best weight was supermiddleweight, 168. that is where he dominated james toney (who was the #1 p4p fighter in some circles) and made 2 weight division champ vinny pazienza look like an amatuer.

roy's chin problems didnt come out until after he had bulked up to 200 and then lost the weight to make 175 to fight tarver, thus slowing him down. until then no one knew he had a bad chin because no one got close to touching him.

roy has a victory over 2 guys ranked in the heavyweight top 10 right now. james toney and john ruiz.

roy wins by a boring UD12. he would dance and jab and flurry in the last seconds to steal rounds just like sugar ray did.

Sorry Charlie, but all Dream Fights are 15 rd as so deemed/ordained by me.

Jones - W 50 (KO's 38) TF 54 - W pct 93% - KO pct 70% - wins over Hopkins, Toney, McCallum and V. Hill - KO'ed by Tarver and G. Johnson (average fighter) - #89 ranked puncher - #44 ranked fighter
Great defensive skill and unparalleled speed (All this hid a weak chin)
Held titles at 160, 168, 175 and Hwy wt

Hagler - W 62 (KO's 51) TF 67 - W pct 93% - KO pct 76% - wins over Minter, Hearns, Mugabi, Duran, Hamsho{2}, Briscoe and Seales - KO'ed by none - #35 ranked puncher - #17 ranked fighter

Hagler vows not to fight Roy as he did Duran (Hagler showed him too much respect). Hagler decides to close Jones' big mouth and to earn some respect. Hagler presses from the start and fights this bout like when he fought Hearns. By the later rds Roy is exposed and KO'ed in rd 12.

Hagler would kill Roy Jones. We all have seen Hagler take a punch but Roy can't take one like him. Hagler is the greatest middle weight ever. He got robbed against sugar ray.

Although I think Marvelous Marvin Hagler was a tremendous "boxer" Roy Jones Jr. would have defeated him. Jone in his prime was a gifted smart fighter who could expose a weakness in his opponent and exploit it.
