lol ppl think im with my bf cuz of d. wade....i mean yea partially but it worked 4 the best we been strong for 2 years lol..first time i seen him i was like "you look jus like my husband d. wade" lol

i tried out this year and got cut. i want to make the team next year really badly. this year people on the basketball team said i would definately make the team, and they keep asking me to tryout for next year. For some reason the coach didn't notice me or didnt want me. But this guy who isn't really good at basketball made the team. i am currently 5ft. 6in. I need some advice so that i can make the team next school year.

After the all star game it seemed like vegas would be a great place for a team what do you think? The kings or New Orleans Hornets? I dont think either team should move both have great fans what do you think?

I think

getting rid of hand checking-steals and open court dunks went way down
not allowing anyone to compete in dunk contest
changing ball
bringing 3 point line in in the 90's

After watching the all star game it made me think that if these guys were in the contest it wouldve been much better. Even though Howard Thomas Nate and Green did great I just think it wouldve been more exciting if these players were in it what do you think.

Hey my shooting form isnt that as bad as it was but i still. . .(please all shooters answer)?
... i still have a slight habbit of using my left thumb to shoot (im right handed). my coach told me to just use my right hand to shoot with a couple months ago and i have taken my thumb off it a lot. But i still use my left thumb a little. I think i shouldn't but i feel so comfortable when i do and shots go in.
Please tell me what i should do because im gonna shoot a lot of baskets in the off season as practice and i heard you should only use good form to shoot or its foolish cause then you practicing at being bad. But then again remember i feel really comfortable and my shots go in.

I mean, what was up with this year's NBA slam dunk contest??? Dwight Howard's second dunk, pasting a sticker at 12'6 with his left hand while catching the alley-oop and dunking with the right hand(all in one motion) was ABSOLUTELY SICK!!! And the judges award it a 42?? Jordan, Dr J and Dominique gave it an 8?

Come on, i bet only less then a handful of guys in the NBA can do that dunk... It was also originality!!! I mean, how many high school contest have you seen people jumping over others ala Gerald Green over Nate( Although that dunk was waay SICK though ). Touching the top of the backboard while dunking!!! No one has ever tried that before!!! and it was awarded such a pathetic score!!! Green and Howard should be in the finals this is height discrimination... If only the judges can view a replay of that dunk, they will see its true greatness...
