I think in the end, Kobe will receive it because in my opinion, he had a larger affect on the game. Amare definetly had a great game, but we also witnessed a usual, but brilliant, performance from Kobe.

As of top now, ~25 video games into the season, Amare is in all probability a pacesetter for the MVP. His numbers are there. he's the guy on his group, and he can get the lion's share of the credit for his group's fulfillment, no longer some thing that too many different applicants can say top now. that is stressful to declare if he can safeguard this point of production over the path of a season, and the Knicks nevertheless have yet to be examined against the interest's elite, yet while we expect the appropriate, i'd say that's a sensible assumption that he finishes in the precise 3 this 300 and sixty 5 days, and he truthfully has a case as being the Most worthy participant over the path of the 2010-2011 season.

If u watched the game, most of those points came from Kobe, most of Kobe's assists were to Amare, so if it wasn't for Kobe, Amare wouldn't have had as many points as he had today. Kobe is a big reason why the West won. He led the way.

How can someone not think Kobe was the MVP he had 31 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals! What the hell does this guy gotta do to have people not hate on him? He out scored Amare not to mention he started scoring early which gave them the lead and momentum early on.

I think the right person got it although I wouldn't have been surprised to see Stoudemire win it. He was excellent tonight and after everything he's been through with rehab and recovering after the surgery 2 years ago I'm happy to see him do so well.

Yes I do. But the flashy scorers will usually get it. In this case Kobe, especially since he's so well known. It's the NBA's money grabbing tactics. Promote the guy that makes them the most money.
