OMG!! You cannot even compare the Raptors to Lakers, Lakers are a WAY better team. The only reason the Raptors can be even comparable to the Lakers right now is because Lakers have injuries. I mean, if you look at the way they were playing when they had everybody healthy, Lakers are a team to be reckoned with, they are undeafeated in their division, and when they were healthy, they were one of the top five teams in the NBA.
You gotta give them credit, they were still playing well without injuries, but now it's really showing that they need their players back, i'm talking about 2 players that are starters, not just any 2 players, Walton has been a big factor for the Lakers as far as offense, and Kwame makes the lakers better defensively and he's good at rebounds. Lakers have the KOBE! Raptors don't!

The Lakers are better this year even though they missed a lot of Odom. Odom makes the triangle offense better. When Kobe and Odom are well, it's just like seeing Jordan & Pippen working on the triangle offense. Somehow, they've gotta get Vujacic more involved as an initiator and get Smush Parker instead to spark the second unit.

As for the Raptors, these guys can shoot jump shots and 3 balls. But do they play defense like the Lakers? I don't think so. Even Chris Bosh is not a really good defender like Duncan. Their offense is somehow based on motion offense with Bargnani, Peterson, Parker, and Ford controlling the pace and Bosh as a post-up player and rebounder.

Just ask yourself who can make a deeper run in the playoffs. And which team has the best go-to-guy in clutch situations. Obviously, it's Kobe and his Laker team.

Lakers play in the west while Toronto plays in the east. This gives Toronto an easier schedule since they play more eastern teams.

The Lakers did lose to Toronto, but it was late in the longest road trip the Lakers have had in a decade.

I think at full strength in a neutral arena, the Lakers are better. Toronto has a slight edge in their own arena, and the Lakers will clobber them at the Staples Center.
