Nope. They don't have a true point guard pushing the ball like Tony Parker has done. In past years Jason Kidd has been able to sacrifice points and bolster the stats column with assists and help the east get points. Don't be mistakened the East and West play with completely different styles of basketball, one more loose and jump shot orientated (West) and East plays with more defense and wait for the perfect shot and make that extra pass. So it's unfair to say if the East "showed up" to play because the total team chemistry doesn't always work out when you put the BEST players out there (indicative of the USA basketball team) if the fans picked the best chemistry orieneted East team they would outright beat the Western conference.

I turn that game off in the third quarter with 9 minutes left because they look like Rookies. I was pulling for the East so bad like always. They didn't came to play. I wasted my tape on that game. Eddie Jordan system SINK. The players didn't show up like they wanna play in the game. No true point guard. They really missed AI and Jason Kidd. Shaq ain't Shaq. Gilbert was jacking up threes the whole time. He was focus on winning the MVP. They didn't play no defense at all. It look so ILL out there. All that dancing took their game away. What if the West had all their players healthy, the score would be 180-132. Because AI and Nash would've had over 20 assists together. They look crappy out there. Lebron, Dwight, and Joe Johnson were the only ones who came to play. Next time I'ma vote from Raymond Felton, Ben Wallace, TJ Ford.

Nope.
They played no defense and was too busy trying to one up the west in dunks and ally-ops to even play any kind of team offense.
