I don't think that any of the NBA players on your list will end up anywhere besides Vince Carter and Jason Kidd. I can see Vince Carter on many different teams, bu especially with the LA Clippers. Jason Kidd has been receiving offers from the Lakers and Golden State. Ultimately, the Lakers will probably get Kidd because the Lakers really want a new player and the Warriors have already received theirs in the trade earlier this season. The Lakers are already dissapointed that they coulodn't get Chris Webber (who would've made them A LOT better!!!) and are going to try extra hard to get Kidd. I think in one or two seasons, Garnett may end up somewhere, but not this year. There haven't been any rumors recently and in LA there have been rumors for the last couple of years that Garnett will come. But if Kidd goes to the Lakers, I'm sure that rumor will stop spreading. I can see Garnett in a Celtic or memphis uniform. I think that ultimately Pippen will want to join one of the Eastern Conference teams and wants to play a role a bit smaller than Cris Webber. However, the 2 obvious teams are Chicago and the Lakers. He may want to help his old team or reunite with his former coach.

Allen stay in seattle. artest stay in sac. kidd maybe at lakers prob stay. Carter is gone to many teams interested prob too someone with young talent. I think carter to lakers for odom bynum would be good trade.Garnett is too loyal. Lewis isn't going anywhere for a long time. gooden could be switched with patterson. Gasol is another who i think will be moving. most likely to the bulls for deng and a pick.

Here's a name all though I doubt he'll be moved before the trade deadline Pau Gasol. But to answer your first question I think Kidd could end up in the western conference, I'm just not sure with which team.

i think kidd will end up with the lakers, or atleast i hope.
allen will stay.
artest will stay.
vc might get moved b/c they say they would rather keep kidd then vc to sell tickets but that dont make any sense to me b/c vc sells way more tickets then kidd.
garnett wont get traded until atleast after the season.
lewis not sure.
gooden maybe traded to the kings for bibby.
patterson i dont think will get moved.
if pippen comes back i think he would be a good fit with the lakers b/c he already knows the triangle offense
