I mean, what was up with this year's NBA slam dunk contest??? Dwight Howard's second dunk, pasting a sticker at 12'6 with his left hand while catching the alley-oop and dunking with the right hand(all in one motion) was ABSOLUTELY SICK!!! And the judges award it a 42?? Jordan, Dr J and Dominique gave it an 8?

Come on, i bet only less then a handful of guys in the NBA can do that dunk... It was also originality!!! I mean, how many high school contest have you seen people jumping over others ala Gerald Green over Nate( Although that dunk was waay SICK though ). Touching the top of the backboard while dunking!!! No one has ever tried that before!!! and it was awarded such a pathetic score!!! Green and Howard should be in the finals this is height discrimination... If only the judges can view a replay of that dunk, they will see its true greatness...

i agree that that dunk shouldve gotten around a 50. they took away from it because of the hieght issue. now because there was no replay they ( the judges) dont have the time to see that he touched twelve and a half feet paisting a sticker. All they saw was that he was tall so it had to be easy. yea well i guess thats just the way it is. too bad for him. but i think gerald green wouldve won it anyways.

I dont' like that Jennings & Ibaka are in it in view that they do no longer dunk as much as McGee and incredibly Blake Griffin! P.S. i presumed LeBron become going to the dunk contest, he stated in 2009 that he become meant to take area in 2010 (final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) yet did no longer and now he did no longer besides. whilst will or no longer it is Mr. James? LOL.

can't blame the replay

a dunk should have the WOW factor from the beggining

That dunk was on the showmanship of Howard.

He needed to make his point clear from the get go so people can watch for it.

He's learned his lesson

they should have the dwight howard rule, similar to football you can get the refs to replay a dunk if you feel you were robbed

Yeah i agree. He probably should have let them know before he did it, so that they would know what to look for..that was amazing though...
