Enough about T-Mac's back problems. People got to stop using that as an excuse to write off T-Mac. Nash isn't that healthy and dependable either and people call him the best right now. Heck, Dwayne's prolly out for the entire season.

I say Kobe, not just because I'm a Lakers Fan, but because he is just as good as MJ ever was, pluse he has like 10-12 more years in the NBA! better defender, and more ups! Not to mention 81 points in one game!!! Thats crazy now a days... I don't think MJ could do it even if Phil let him. Just give Kobe 5 more years and you'll see, he'll have his MVPs and Shaq-less Championships!!!

To compete with the Phoenix's and Dallas', I think they need as much offensive threats in the starting lineup as they can. I'd start a Smith/Iverson backourt. He never did that, but did a Diawara/Iverson backourt when JR went down. What gives George =/

asked that because this issue still has continued to be problems. Some male athletes dont like to have to get naked and change in front of women that are not their wives or women that they dont want to get naked in front of. Also male reporters are not being granted the right to go in women athletes locker rooms. So if title 9 and equality is now a big issue in fairness of equality should females not be allowed in male athletes locker rooms or should males be allowed in females locker rooms if females are given that right to interview male athletes?

In my opinion Greg Oden is in the Andrew Bogut, Samuel Dalembert, Al Jefferson category. While Kevin Durant is a combination of Tracy McGrady and Kevin Garnett.

You have these specific MJ haters on here making senseless points. First they'll say MJ had 5 bad seasons without Pippen, but they won't mention that it was MJ's first 3 years(a developing process & MJ's 2nd year he got hurt & had a late season return) & his last 2 years as a Wizard( he was 38-40, past his prime & hurt). They also will forget to mention that MJ lost 3 years WITH Pippen(it took him 7 years to win it). When MJ first came to the NBA he was just a inside scorer, as the years went by certain parts of his game had developed. He became a better outside shooter, started playing better defense, and learned to trust his teammates. Hey some people develop faster then others do, and it doesn't make MJ any less of a player because it took him a few years to develop his game. When MJ was at his peak(the 90's), he proved to be the greatest of all time! .... Anyways, they'll try to bring up the 95 season against him too. MJ only played the LAST 17 games( a late season return)!

Heard rumors that Reggie Miller is thinking about coming to the Mavericks for a chance to win a championship as well as Scottie Pippen is thinking about going to the Lakers or the Spurs. Is this good for the teams involved?

My line up is

PG - Gary Payton
SG - Michael Jordan
SF - Charles Barkley
PF - Kevin Garnett
C - Hakeem The Dream

A little lacking in three point shooting but this is a beast defensively. Rebounds, good passing, shot blocking, defense, everything. With this team you wont need to shoot 3 pointers.

But come on. Nash out...losing record...Nash back winning record. The Suns' record without Nash is below .500. I think that Marion and Stoudamire are phenominal players but Nash is a cornerstone.

I've lived in Dallas, TX since 1988 just in time to watch the Mavericks start to really suck. I suffered through the Roy Tarpley days when we were really hoping he'd just stop shoving cocaine up his nose and play basketball. I watched the Mavericks front office in the early 90s botch countless drafts and I sat through season after season of uninspired basketball from nameless faceless spares. I remember when admitting to being a Maverick fan was like admitting you were gay.

Now all the sudden everyone is a Mavs fan and a Dirk fan. Back in 1993 I thought I was the only Maverick fan alive on this planet. It certainly felt that way. If you just started liking the Mavericks that's fine with me, trust me I'm not upset. I much prefer things the way they are today than back in the Don Carter 10 gallon hat days.

Maybe some other Mavericks fans can share their thoughts and share how they became Maverick fans
