Heard rumors that Reggie Miller is thinking about coming to the Mavericks for a chance to win a championship as well as Scottie Pippen is thinking about going to the Lakers or the Spurs. Is this good for the teams involved?

Neither should come back! They had good careers! Why tarnish them by coming back to play! If that's the case, then Charles Barkley should come back! At least he's smart enough to know when to say when! He was right when he said that Scottie Pippen had no business thinking about a comeback. He's already won six championships! What the hell would a comeback do for him and why? And Reggie Miller? The only reason he wants to come back is for a championship and nothing else! That is why the rumors are strong that he'll become a Dallas Maverick. They've got the best record in the league so of course it makes sense to join up with the best! If this does happen and he comes back, how is he going to feel if the Mavericks DON'T win the title? That whole comeback will be a bust and will be looked at as nothing more than a publicity stunt! Scottie Pippen doesn't need to set foot back on the court to play EVER! He should be off somewhere picking that big nose of his! I love Scottie and he and MJ made a dangerous duo, but the fact that he wants to come back sucks! He needs to leave well enough alone and go on with life before he cripples himself!

Pippen is done, first of all he might be in the best shape of his life, but his motor skills have decreased and the main thing that made him so great was Jordan, so whitout a jordan on the team hes not gonna be much of a factor.
Reggie on the other hand just retired and is still a great shooter and player is still in great shape not as old, and He does deserve that ring. If he had anyone else that ran the show with him at indiania he would have won for sure, and with the mavericks He can be a big factor and win the ring he will prove deserves.

I dont see no need for both of them to come back I mean especially pippen, he got 6 rings, I mean I dont think he's broke, why would he want to come back, reggie on the other hand if he come back I can see why to get ar ring, but they already retired his jersey and all, both of them need to except the fact that their career is over, walk away from it.

It's not good for anyone.

Let's see. If I had millions of dollars and was retired by age 40, would I go back to work?

Oh, there'd be the chance at getting injured and looking like a fool and looked down upon for trying to regain lost glory, but those incentives are just not enough.

no. It's just good for them. Reggie might deserve a ring, but Pippin has several from the Jordan/Bulls era.

NO! You can only be good for so long and besides, look at when Jordan came back with the Wiz, as good as a player can be, they are only as good as the other men on the court.
