He can opt out at the end of this season, but should he or would he go? He's very loyal, but a lot of people think he will opt out of his last two years on the contract and go with the Lakers or Bulls.

My reasons for not liking Kobe:
First of all I'll like for you guys to know that I'm a MJ fan. Year after year I watched MJ prove himself to become the greatest. From being called a ball-hog, the beatings he took from the Pistons & Knicks(The Jordan Rules), people saying a scoring champ can't win, not having a legit BIG MAN or team, & etc. MJ went threw all of that, beat all odds, and now he's arguably the greatest that ever played(4 the sake of debate). As a fan of MJ & watching it all happen I now have the upmost respect for him... So to see Kobe enter the nba as an Laker RESERVE & getting compared to MJ was very disrespectful. Then the Kobe HYPE had got so big, that his first all-star game Kobe was a starter & wasn't even a starter for the Lakers yet. I became furious because this guy was getting all these props without proving himslef yet. How are you going to be compared to the greatest, start on the all-star team, and be a RESERVE player on your team. He was waaay overrated!

Which teams are underdogs to win the championship this year? I have a feeling an underdog team will win it, and not the heavily favored Mavs or Suns. I say from the West, the Rockets are the underdogs judging from people's responses. From the East, take your pick, there's a lot underdogs in the Eastern Conference.

I was a Shaq's fan but he began to bug me. He is the most immature athlete in the NBA. First off, he would let a crudge between him and kobe off. He still bitchin and crying about what happened in Los Angeles 4 years ago. He talk crap about Lakers fans who stood behind him with all the kobe vs Shaq fiasco. Not only he's immature, he is not a hard worker. I dont remember the last time he played a full season yet. He always take vecation (uhh i mean) injury time off during the season and still complained about the work outs. And now, to top it all, he complains about the MVP votings saying it's tainted the last 4 years. Just because he didnt win an MVP the last 4 years doesnt mean it's tainted. Those MVP winners deserve it all. I didnt realized Steve Nash, Tim Duncan and Garnets a buss but to Shaq's eyes they are. What an immature 30 somethin year old guy. I was a huge Shaq's fan but now he is my least favorite player.

Now I admit I was one of the people that had given up on Tyson... But have you seen the stats for this year? Tyson give you 2 more points, 2 more rebounds, .5 less block.

Plus he's 10 years younger and comes for way less money (ie a tradable contract)...

Is it just me or did the Bulls blow this one?

Both of these player's careers are going nowhere fast, so Livingston is tall and can handle the ball, big deal, there have been so many games that he's scored under 10 pts (closer to 4 actually), and Telfair is barely getting any minutes on the worst team in the league! This injury might be the nail in the coffin, plus the Clippers are still irrelevant and obviously the Celtics are and will be for a long time to come. Nice draft class '04, not! Players should have to play a minimum of 2 years of college ball, even thought it wouldn't have helped either of these two scrubs.

Panathinaikos got a full roster containig Dimitris Diamantidis(best defender in Europe 2005,2006) and a bunch of other very skillful playes.
Csska is the former champion and I think it is one of the best because of its players.
Tau is a very good controlled team with fine players with a lot of experience.Your thoughts!!!!!

It was the worst injury I've ever seen to a basketball player. Does anyone else think that it's career-ending? If not career-ending, I think that if he ever gets back on the court, he won't be the same player. Anyone agree?
