It was the worst injury I've ever seen to a basketball player. Does anyone else think that it's career-ending? If not career-ending, I think that if he ever gets back on the court, he won't be the same player. Anyone agree?

Disagree. Shaun's first season was also ruined by a dislocated knee, his right knee. And the kid has bounced back the past two seasons with half decent play. But I must admit, I expected him to be playing at higher level by now (at least the second option next to Brand). But I won't go as far as saying he's a disappointment. So I think he'll be back and back to normal. But the question is just a matter of time. End of this season? Playoffs (if the Clips make it there)? Next Fall? I'm thinking towards the end of the season.

They told me not to look on Sports Center, so I didn't. I've been watching football since the early 80s and just recently saw Theisman's injury for the first time. I don't like seeing that stuff. I certainly hope Livingston's okay. Seems like a really promising player...or at least he was.

I saw it I cringed at how horrible it was ... I can possibly imagine how painful it was but i can tell you this he will be changed forever as a player.
If he comes back I hope its for the better to prove that he recovered i feel so much for him and what he is going through.

That was a nasty injury and my biggest concern for him is his durability. This isn't his first knee injury and it occurred while he was running and there was no contact. I don't know that his body can withstand the rigors of the NBA regardless of his talent.

Yes, saw that on CNN this morning. Brutal. Now he has had both knee caps dislocated. If I was him, I'd get into something different.

I watched it at work...and almost screamed just watching it...horrible! But can't resist watching everyone's face when they see it.
