i think he will be just another shooter in the NBA. He's not athletic or tall enough to be a force in the league at the shooting guard. Classic example is Trajan Langdon, also from duke, very similar game to JJ, one of the best shooters in the country, couldnt make the transition very well to the pros, and is now playing pro in israel. JJ is a better defender than Langdon, and I think JJ will be a solid NBA player, but he wont be anything special.

Yes after Magic release a few guard and Redick can stay healthy and does what he did in Duke

Same thing I said when he was at Duke -- NO.
He might be a reliable bench player at best, a la Eric Piatkowski or Matt Bullard.
His size, athleticism, and skills aren't on par for him to become an NBA star (but hey, he could maybe prove me wrong, but it's only a "maybe")

If dey ever played him. In the games he's got in a little bit, he's done well. He'll never be the player he wuz at Duke, but he'll be a good NBA player.

it's been 1 year and he's done crap. hold on for a couple years. Dirk sucked as a rookie through 4th year so hold on. a player can develop later on.

I always thought Reddick was a bad player at Duke. Maybe it'll shine off at orlando.

Yes, as long as he gets enough minute per game and stay healthy, like he did while he was in Duke.
