He won 4 world series, and straightened out a team that was aging before our eyes. The bottom line is Steinbrenner is the one who wanted the 82 yr old Randy Johnson, and injury prone Carlos Pavano and Giambi. Isn't this more George's fault than Joe's?

I've been mulling it over in my head; just wondering what you guys think.

As much as I want the Yanks to lose, I wouldn't mind seeing them win tonight against Paul Byrd. Why? That means Sabathia goes Wednesday. If he gets in trouble, in comes Carmona. That REALLY hurts their pitching against the Sox should they win, meaning they would pitch games 3 and 4, and maybe 7.

I don't know...I'd love to see the Yanks out of it ASAP. I just can't decide.

PS: How about Torre as Francona's bench coach next year. That would stick it up Steinbrenners butt (even Yankee fans would agree to that).

For younger fans who don't know who he was he was the first MLB Commisioner ever. He was a no nonesense Commisioner who did everythign he could to clean up the game after the Black Sox Scandal of 1919. Someone asked a question about playoff predicitions, and before playoffs even started he picked a best answer....

The guy he chose had the cubs in the WS, which can't happen since they're already out....

I picked ALL 3 SERIES that finished correctly, and If my picks go right I deserve best answer, or any1 with the most correct picks should.... But this guy doesn't...

It seems that everytime i congratulate the Red Sox & their fans someone seems to have a thing of trying to get those questions deleted. Somebody seems have a problem with me being a good sport. I guess whoever the coward is don't think it's cool of me to not hate baseball teams & to be a sport about things. I guess they rather have me act like a petty child like them who have to insult other teams & their fans for the crime of liking another team. To that person or persons. get a hobby & a life & respect other people's opinions. And don't give me that crap about guidelines. It is such a sad thing when all yankee's fans can worry about are the bugs in Cleveland. We had to deal with them too, so get over it!!! You tried to use it as another excuse to play bad. It was what it was, so again, GET OVER IT! Why did you all want the game called? That's my question!
