I've been mulling it over in my head; just wondering what you guys think.

As much as I want the Yanks to lose, I wouldn't mind seeing them win tonight against Paul Byrd. Why? That means Sabathia goes Wednesday. If he gets in trouble, in comes Carmona. That REALLY hurts their pitching against the Sox should they win, meaning they would pitch games 3 and 4, and maybe 7.

I don't know...I'd love to see the Yanks out of it ASAP. I just can't decide.

PS: How about Torre as Francona's bench coach next year. That would stick it up Steinbrenners butt (even Yankee fans would agree to that).

Good thinking! Yeah, I want the series to go to 5 games, but the Indians win.

And personally, I think Torre should stay as the Yankees manager. He's a classy guy, and Boston just is more......Boston is a great city, but Torre just wouldn't fit in there.

I think Torre should go to some other place, and lead them to the play-offs, and face the Yankees in the ALCS or World Series (depending on which league he went too), and beat the Yankees. That would really piss off Steinbrenner!

In order for Yankees to win, series against Cleveland MUST go to 5 - so fatigue will figure in.

But I just want the Yankees to win because, as a Sox fan, I think the World Championship means that much more when the Yankees are felled by the Sox specifically along the way.

While slightly off topic, if steinbrenner gets rid of torre it would be the biggest mistake he could ever make. Fact is he got the yanks to the post season 13 years in a row. And everyone in NY loves torre, its steinbrenner we cant stand. I want a world series win as much as anyother fan, but i dont want to have to sacrifice team players to get one. Thats all...go yanks :)

Man, I thought about the rotations a bit myself. As much as I'd like to see that, I have to say I'd rather just have the Yankees out ASAP. I'm a Sox fan myself. As far as bench coach...Oh Yeah!

I was just saying this to my dad yesterday, that I wanted the Indians to take the series 3-2 so that they'd be tired when facing the Sox.

i would like 2 things. the yankees to lose tonight and be done, or the yankees win the series and have the red sox beat them in the ALCS. either would be fine.
