I think #1 Yankee fan is right. This sounds like you're getting us to do you're homework. Although, I'll still answer the question, but I won't give you an introduction.
My favorite season is fall. The five reason are:
1) Baseball playoffs
2) Football season
3) Basketball season is right around the corner
4) New season of TV shows starts on broadcast networks
5) The weather is very nice during fall. Not too hot, not too cold.
Also, if you did mean baseball season, then it was 2006. Look at my avatar name and you'll get your five reasons why.

2004 Red Sox. It played like something straight out of Hollywood.
The lovable perennial underdogs vs. the arrogant "Evil Empire". 3 outs away from yet another sweep by the Yankees when Dave Roberts stole second and Bill Mueller of all people gets the RBI to tie the game. Then Big Papi hits a clutch homer to keep the Sox alive. In the 5th game he hits a clutch RBI single in the 14th inning to force a game 6. Which of course featured Curt Schilling's historic "bloody sock" and Jeter's notorious slap. Game 7 had drama of its own with Francona bringing in Pedro Martinez as a relief pitcher and he almost blows the game. For the umpteenth time in Sox history it looks like they are going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...but NO! They actually manage to pull off the most unbelievable comeback in MLB history!

Spring
1.Spring it fells like there is love in the air

But my favortie season is baseball season because i love baseball. And i love going to games... I have to say, that everygame that i go to when it is the subway series mets always win!!!!
NOOOO my fav. season is spring b/c it is not to hott and it is not to cold
