Any fan of baseball, (I am a Cardinals fan) if you have not heard Ron Santo on WGN you are missing something. When things are good you hear "ALL RIGHT" to when things are bad, "OH NO!!" If you have not heard him with Pat Hughes (and he is great in his own right) your missing it.

I have Cleveland Indians C.C Sabathia card, but it the name says "Scott Kazmir".

And on the back of the card, it shows Scott Kazmir's stats, but that little summary about the player is about C.C.

Is this a mistake...worth anything?

I'm trying out for the school baseball team this year. I throw hard, usually in the upper 70's lower 80's but I sometimes have control problems. Will the coaches over look that or will it be a bad problem?

Who's to blame for this collapse? Ned Colletti was getting all the credit for being the anti-Depodesta, but apparently his methods are no better. He gave $9m a year to Juan Pierre and his .316 OBP, signed a quickly declining Nomar, and traded for the 5.20 ERA Mark Hendrickson. Maybe he's not the savior?

Little is reminding everyone why Boston fired him. He can't seem to motivate the troops, and his "old school" approach seems to be failing him.

So, who should go?

Everyone jumps on the bandwagon for those announcers they don't like. How about the good ones?
I liked Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese and Bob Costas and Tony Kubek. I think Al Michaels is terrific although he doesn't get many chances.
Who do YOU like?

He has an unfair advantage he took drugs the other players didn't. Large market teams have money to buy players that other teams. I know it's different a little but it's still an advantage over everyone else, and it obviously is valid, because look at the teams that have the high payrolls and look how often they are in the playoffs/ the world series.

I'm partly saying this because Yankees fans act like they are so great when the truth is any team could be that good with the salary they have.

Most teams have great players, and then they want more money so they go to the larger market teams, and it's not just the Yankees either. I wanted to say that before they said it was sour grapes, because they know that's not true, I have been making this statement all year.

there are plenty of small market teams that would have a better advantage from it, were it would only hurt the two teams that have such an advantage, and that is losing people from watching baseball.

This guy that sat by me on Friday night say well we won't have a dynasties if there is a salary cap, I was like so, that's good keep baseball pure, if the same teams buy there way in how is that fair to everyone else.

It's not like the real world, were everyone has an opportunity to have more money, they just have these owners that have more money than they know what to do with, and that is what is ruining baseball.

Sports should be fair, or at least some what closer to fair, I'm not saying take away all their advantage but at least make basbeball interesting to watch by giving other teams a shot at it.

Even when teams like the Tigers and Indians and some other smaller markets get into the playoffs they can't buy the extra players like the Red Sox and Yankees can.

So many people say it is unfair that Major League Baseball refuses to reinstate Rose. However, Rose admitted to the charges and agreed to sentencing. Joseph Jefferson "Shoeless Joe" Jackson and George "Buck" Weaver were acquitted in a court of law of any wrongdoing in the 1919 World Series or the Black Sox scandal. Baseball banned them anyways and they still are unable to be inducted into the Hall of Fame though both are long dead - so doesn't a lifetime ban end with death? Yet these guys are still on baseballs banned ineligible list. Have baseball "fans" forgotten their history when they say Rose should be inducted but forget players like Jackson or Weaver? Weaver, also called "The Gingerbread Kid" tried to clear his name all the way up until he died. So - your thoughts on this? I say NO TO ROSE unless there is justice for those like Jackson and Weaver. And please - educate yourself on their situation before you rush to judgment. Get more info on Jackson at www.blackbetsy.com
