I'm trying out for the school baseball team this year. I throw hard, usually in the upper 70's lower 80's but I sometimes have control problems. Will the coaches over look that or will it be a bad problem?

1. Throw first pitch strikes.
2. Field your position on a bunt play, grounder to first, or backing up a throw to home.
3. Remembering with a runner on second or third that the catcher's signal sequence changes so you don't deliver a wild pitch or cause a passed ball.
I'm not a coach, but that's what I look for when I see a guy on the mound.

Well, they want you to throw strikes when they want strikes. Make sure you have good technique as in experience. Do what they say and you'll do good.
