A few days ago I saw some old news footage of Fenway park and the Green Monster didn't appear to have seating at the top. When was the seating installed and have any of you out in Y/A ever sat there?

They were added before the 2003 season.

The Monster Seats are very recent, added since John Henry took ownership before the 2003 season.

The Green Monster seats were added for the 2003 season. I've never sat up there but its supposed to be awesome.

That green monster seating went in about 2003 after new owners bought park in 2002.

I sat there once. Not very good at all. You can't see anything behind the shortstop or in CF. Don't believe the hype. They are awful seats.
However, the new seats installed on the rooftop in RF are excellent. They have tables and serve meals.

It was installed a few years ago...2004 or 2005.
