i was at the game just 1 hour ago. and a crazy umpire got into fight with Barry and taunted him in the end only to eject him. but i cant say that it wasnt very very entertaining!! haha people around me and all the fans were throwing things. chanting BARRY BARRY!!! defiantley lightened the spirit. plus i saw him hit a homerun. has the news reached outside S.F yet is my question.

the penant race is tight and the big unit just blew a 3 run lead...the guy seems to more of a burden than a help to the yankee efforts...i think its time he be relegated to the bull pen..he can help more in a quick relief situation...hope torre adjusts the lineup soon or it may cost the yanks the whole shebang

I met him and was in a photo shoot in the S.F Chronicle in ' 67 or '68...I was either 11or 12 at the time...you can imagine how I was elated to see the ; "Yankee Clipper " annnway. I didn't get an autograph and I always felt like;
" What gives you know ?
I have the greatest amt. of respect for Joe
and this is a big shout out to his family..

I' m thinking Detroit takes Boston and NYY beats Anahiem, Tigers make the Series.

In the NL St. louis takes Arizona and the Mets take the Dodgers. Mets make the series.

Mets win in seven.

P.S. My team is the Red Sox and if they had gotten Clemens I think The Sox would have won it all.
