He was fired by ESPN for sexual harassment.

He didn't leave because he wanted to. He was released from the network for sexually harassing a co-worker. He apparently hugged one of the women on staff, she got really upset, and a lawsuit is pending. He may be given a chance to return in the future, but not likely.

Supposedly he gave a woman an unsolicited back rub. Apparently you can only get away with that if you are the President.

There was a complaint about him sexual harrasing someone, ESPN didnt want to have any conflicts and fired him.
