It seems to me that since petco is sponsering the stadium that they would allow pets in the park.

No, you can't have a bunch of dogs running around. One gets unleashed, bites somebody, two dogs fight, an owner doesn't clean up after his animal, etc. Could you imagine if a dog escaped from his owner, ran out onto the field and bit Jake Peavy in the ***? It'd make for a great Sportscenter highlight, but I'm not sure Peavy would be too happy about it. Another good reason to say no would be that some people have allergies to animals, and any Padres fan with an allergy to dogs suddenly can't go to the stadium.

Good idea, but not realistic, I'm afraid.

Not all the time. Special dog events would be cool. So the people who don not like dogs know not to go whenit is dog day. Every park should have a bring your pet to the park day. Oh, Maybe put them in a special section.

Absolutely allow pets in this park! The Petco company allows them in their retail stores. And just as humans are trained to use the bathroom facilities, these animals must be directed/trained to use their specific "facilities".
$5.00 ticket discount for all humans who bring a pet!!!

Dogs should not be allowed. They should be kept in their owner's yard.
