Listen to your coach. Nothing will piss a coach off quicker than thinking he has a know-it-all on the team.

i just played on my high school team and won the coachs award haha yes sounds dorky but i also was one of the top players on my team. The main thing i did was listen to what the coach has to say and learn from his criticism. If he says to do something a certain way do it. Be the example for everyone else. Also talk to your coach. Discuss certain topics in baseball or how you could play your position better or ask him what you could do to be a better hitter. In the end just be a good kid and a good ball player.
