Chase utleys hit streak ended at 35 when he went 0 for 5 today against the mets. Will anyone ever break Joey D's record?

i didn't know it ended darn i was hoping he would get further. i doubt anyone will ever. manny ramirez had a 19 game hitting streak as of yesterday i don't know what happened today during the red sox game i think he got a hit hmm.

That's been the age old questions since Joe D did it in 1941. Every couple of years it seems that someone comes along and get into the 30's but that's about it. Could be that 56 will always be the magic number.

I taught Bo and Bo knows sports. I never thought that Utley would break Joe D's record.

No the record will stand for another 20 years before another player reaches 50 games. An dit will satand for another 40 before someone breaks it.
