The mets are having one of their best seasons since 1988, and more importantly, the Braves have no chance of beating them(finally). They also have the top record in the National League. For the first time in 20 years can the Mets finally win the World Series?

Do you think there are questions concerning steroids or maybe just his personality while with Chicago that might influence the writers to pass him up the first time he is eligible?

Every time I see that, it looks like a fairly routine play. He flips the ball to the catcher. What's the big deal? On a regular night, that play doesn't even make "Web Gems".

Have you noticed that the teams lease likely to win the World Series are winning the world series? Think about it: The D'backs, Angels, Marlins, the Red Sox and last year the White Sox. You don't suppose that the commissioner in the sky is saying, HEY, IT'S THE LITTLE GUY'S TURN NOW. What's your point of view?

As of right now they are 57-28.

In order for them to win 100 they would have to go 43-34 the rest of the way.

Can they do it?
