According to what I read on Jayski.com, Coors Light may become the official beer of NASCAR, replacing Budweiser, and Coors may also become the new sponsor of what is now the Busch series tour.(Winston Salem Journal)
AND could be the sponsor of the #01 DEI team in 2008
Coors Light will announce Tuesday a $20 million deal over five years to become the official beer of NASCAR starting in January. . The new deal includes renaming the pole award to the Coors Light Pole Award from the Bud Pole Award. For Coors, the NASCAR deal also replaces its sponsorship of the #40 Dodge in the Nextel Cup Series.

What are all the Bud fans gonna do now?

I heard somewhere that the increase of women in the sport is growing faster than the number of men. Does the younger drivers effect the amount of memorabilia sold to women?

I saw on TV where most of his money for racing comes from doing stunts. Have to admire his determination. Will it pay off? Will be become a cup regular?

Dodge Charger SRT-8 with the 6.1L Hemi
Monte Carlo SS with the 5.3 L LS4

Seems like all the veteran drivers a few years back were systematically pushed out one way or the other and replaced with younger drivers with expectations of producing better overall race results. Some have proven successful but is it the drivers or the equipment that is most important? Have the majority of the young guns proven to be better or should they have kepts some of the veterans? Which ones?

So I saw a Toyota pick up with a number 9 on it. Looked all redneck and all, but it was a Japanese car. It was almost all out redneck except that it was all decorated on a Japanese car. So that looked weird to me.

As a long time Nascar fan I'm starting to question this chase format and other Nascar rule changes!
In any other sport, that I know of, once you are out of championship contention you don't play anymore!
All you hear is chase this and chase that. I even notice that the chase drivers get the most TV coverage.
The rules seem to be inconsistant at times between chase and non chase drivers.
Only in Nascar would you find the Lucky Dog! This sounds like something from a game show. I guess it's OK with me up until the time that a driver that is given a lap back wins the race. It might have already happened and I didn't notice?
What is happening with this top 35 in points stuff. I don't like the idea that a car that qualifies faster goes home!
I always thought speed was what it was about?
And it's very unfair to make a team and driver suffer next season for what they did this season.
Put it all back like it was!!!
Elmer Fudd must be running this deal!
But I will still watch!

Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart? Do you honestly think they are and why are they the favorites at this track? Is it because this track is just like Chicagoland? Than why isn't Harvick a favor to win? GO 48 GO!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if Tony was fined or punished in anyway for running all over that car in the pits this past Sunday?
I think it was Paul Menard??
I can't find anything about it on Nascar.com
