I almost stay around the corner to the IMS. i've got no longer been there for a Cup race yet I actual have been to the Indy 500 back interior the day formerly it started out to stink. The racetrack and all surrounding facilities is called a "circuit" as in Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
The race is referred to as a "course" often.
The racetrack itself is often referred to as piste. As in Tony Steward takes to the track "piste" to complete is qualifing run. Or Tony is "en Course" after his pitstop.
