The Monte is also Front wheel.
The charger is the only answer.
It would be one hell of a challenge to race any front wheel drive at those speeds...talk about pushing the nose, there would be no front tires left after 5 laps-10 laps on most tracks.
Anyone who has shoved FWD car into a turn at 50-60 plus knows exactly what I am talking about.
BTW, the Charger would leave them all at the start finish, the Fusion coming in at 227 HP
Camry at 2 soemthing I am not sure.
Monte at 303HP
Charger 6.1...425HP....Draft or not, that car is gone...Kasey Khane and Ryan Newman, might just win a race.

The Charger takes the checkered flag! In 2nd is the Monte Carlo followed not so closely by the Camry Solara. I think there's a Fusion here somewhere.....
Now to our New York studios and Brent Musburger!!!!

Hopefully the Charger...but probably the Monte.
"considering NASCAR is a bunch of robots, etc"
yeah, what a shame the best driver/team wins rather than teh team with the most money to pour into the car.

Well the charger has more horsepower than the other three plus its a rear wheel drive vehicle, that makes a big difference in driving.

WORKING AS A TECH FOR CHRYSLER DEALER AND HAVING DRIVEN ALL THE CARS MENTIONED I CAN TELL YOU FIRST HAND THAT THE SRT/8 WOULD BOOT STOMP ALL THE OTHERS !!!! V-8 MONTE CARLO IS COOL BUT WAY TO MUCH POWER FOR FRONT DRIVER.

There's no doubt that the Chargers would be well in front when they started blowing up, which would be 10-15 minutes into the race. No telling what would go first -- engines, transmissions, rear ends, wheels -- but nothing in a stock drivetrain is up to the rigors of a full-length NASCAR race.
The winner would be a cagey veteran, maybe Schrader. Realizing he had no chance to catch the Mopars, he would keep his Fusion tooling around on the apron at about 75% of max rpm. The young hotshots would blow up after a few minutes at redline and slow 'n' steady would outlast them all.
It wouldn't be much fun to watch. If you really want to see close-to-stock vehicles racing, go to your local short track and wait for the "bomber" class.
