Jimmy rambles, I think he talks faster than what his brain can think. I'm not saying any of this in a bad way. It's just the way he is.

He's not the only one who forgets who drives what. When TNT was covering NASCAR, Bill Weber said Bobby Labonte was driving the 18. Bobby hasn't driven that car since 05.

it gets crazy on the Race Day show on Speed TV, with Kenny and Riki Rachtman, I'd be nuts...They have so much going on its easy to make mistakes., plus going from reporter to reporter on different topics, all the fans in the back ground..Its a wonder anyone gets anything right..It looks and sounds like a party atmosphere.. Just wait till next yr with so many different drivers changing teams sponsors etc etc, everyone will be making mistakes on the show..

I don't think so, with drivers moving around so much and
him remembering who's been driving what for so many
years it's hard to keep every driver up to date for every
race with out notes right in front of you. And with only a
glance at a number going by so fast it's hard to read the
numbers.

no, it just gets really busy when you are commenting on a race and watching ans it is so fast, you are bound to get somethings wrong from time to time
