Absolutely not... It's terrible. Not to mention the fact I cant drink a case of mountain dew's while watching the race.

Oh my goodness! You just don't want to stop wearing your red shirt.
It is Mt Dew, not Mt Dew Code Red that sponsors the car AND if you had seen the news conference, Dale Jr was integral in designing the car.
(but go ahead and put the orange 20 on your car!)
GO SMOKE!

apparently a lot of Jr fans do not like the dew car, they have said they are not ruling out having a code red car sometimes as pepsico has a lot of options.

I like the color scheme but I don't like the shape of the numbers. I wish the eights were shaped like his old one. As for the 20 car, Tony will be wanting a ride with Hendrick Racing when he is chasing all the Chevy's in that Toyota.

I personally like both cars!!!!!! JR. wanted to design the car so Rick let him. That is what he likes so that's all that matters!! The sponser is AMP not code red so why would they want red again? As far as the 20 Pick a Hendrick driver!

I like the Mt Dew car, but I don't particularly care for the National Guard car.

Green...such an unfortunate color. I know people don't buy into superstition anymore, but race car drivers are a superstitious bunch.
Anyone remember a few years back in the IROC series, all the cup drivers ripped on Helio Castroneves for having a green car?
by the way - pulling for the 20 car is not the answer to your troubles, man.

Its called CHANGE...yes, its alittle hard on the eyes, but I'm sure we all will get use to it.. I am a true fan, he could be in a purple pokadot car and I'd still be a fan. Once he starts winning and doing great, eveyone will be happy...Its just he has been in the red car for so long, but its all about change in 2008, and I'm happy about the HMS move...and I do not care what color his car is , I'm a true Dale Jr fan..
Go Dale Jr & HMS

It is definately going to take some getting used to. I think the hardest part is looking for a car that doesn't stand out. And I am not looking forward to "Am I looking for the blue or the green....which one is he driving today???"

I'd have to see it in person to really make a final decision. Film usually doesn't capture colors all that accurately. It might actually look better in person. Then again, maybe not.
In the end, its the car he's running, so I'll live with it. And it doesn't look to bad on the shirt I got at dover at least.

It was kinda odd looking. The COT-er, Checker Cab is odd anyway. Some people refer to it as the Crap Of Tomorrow. They do resemble the pregnant looking 1961 Plymouth. Check it out.
