The real question is why did Coors offer so much money to be the official sponsor. They figured they get more exposure as the official beer of NASCAR than sponsoring a Chip Ganassi car that can get a top 10 all year. Official beer of the NFL is working out pretty good I think with the team cooler packs. They might work out something like that for NASCAR too.

I think Miller is happy with the 2 car. Coors has not sponsored a good car in years. So they figured give up the car and sponsor the sport.

Do you really think NASCAR cared which beer was more popular? It was not a choice between which beer was more popular but which "beer company" was willing to pay the highest price. Samuel Adams would have gotten the deal if they had offered 25 million. NASCAR as with any business is in this for money, not a popularity contest.

because Coors Light has a far better ad campaign unit. How many cool commercials has Coors Light put out over the last couple yrs for the NFL? Remember "I love....and the Twins!"
Killer commercials equal more sales, wider coverage and of course More Money my friend.

If your going to continue with a beer sponsor, at least Coors's tastes like beer. Miller lite is a bottle of water. All I hope is that at races the tracks continue to sell Budweiser or it's gonna suck .

Because Coors was the one offering the big bucks. It seems like I heard 20 million. It's all about the money.

Because Coors knows who drinks their crap watered down beer. Coors is not a real beer people. Might as well be drinking a wine cooler.
I would agree with the Sam Adams, but I think an all dark brown Guiness car would look great.
