Hey why not, maybe his acting can be a new career since his driving is not the greatest..he did win one race this yr, has not done anything since...

Have you seen him lately? He is ripped. He eats all organic food and exercises like crazy and in between practice and qualifying and racing I think that he has some down time, so why not do something productive and entertaining. I mean driving provides a ton of entertainment but not everyone watches racing. Plus he's good looking and he would get alot of people talking. At least he didnt break the law or do something completely stupid and idiotic like Michael Waltrip, Kyle or Kurt Busch did in previous years.

As a huge Jamie McMurray fan, Jamie's just enjoying life. If appearing on a soap opera is something that Jamie wanted to do, everybody should be fine with it.

I see nothing wrong with Jamie or any other Nascar driver showing their "acting" skill's . It allows us to see a different side of them
Mark Martin & Carl Edwards were on "Guiding Light",Carl also had an appearance on "24". Its no different than them being in a music video or making an appearance on a talk show . I have even seen driver's on "Family Feud",Jamie was also on the "Country Music Awards" .
We get to see them as someone other than a Nascar driver .

I don't think so. The driver has a lot of down time between races. Why not fill it up with something at least somewhat productive? He isn't doing something that would embarrass his team or sponsors. And he isn't going to get injured, so I say go for it.

Well Casey Mears made an Appearance on Days several years ago (back in his Target years)- we can all see how that helped him.

No, at this point I think he should be focusing on Soap Operas and maybe forget about driving, he does not do much anyways...how many DNF's this year?
