I saw on TV where most of his money for racing comes from doing stunts. Have to admire his determination. Will it pay off? Will be become a cup regular?

It's kinda doubtful. He's been around long enough that if he WAS going to get a ride anywhere, he would have already gotten a decent ride.

Aside from that, he just loves racing.

He's a real good stuntman too!!!!

No, there is to much talent in the field now plus a lot of talent coming up looking for a ride.
I think Stanton Barrett is a good man, just not cup material!
He has raced in the lower series before, but as I remember he didn't have a lot of luck!

Unless he can bring a major sponsor, and drive some busch races and gets some finishes and wins, I doubt it..He is a great stunt driver.. In this world today its about $$$ and sponsorship in the cup series and he needs to prove himself as well..

His determination is the key to his future. If he remains diligent and continues to get exposure, maybe, he will get picked up by a good team that will give him an opportunity to prove himself as a race car driver. I think he has some talent, but, only time will tell.

You have to give the guy credit for determination, and pure passion for racing. I think he could be doing better if he could afford a regular pit crew, at least. That is one think that keeps him back. I think he has potential, and he definitely has spirit and drive. Not a bad combination, if he could get some decent backing.

No way. Too old and hasn't capitalized on his oppurtunities. He came in at the end of an era, when young drivers had to perform well in inferior equipment to move on to the big time rides and be successful.

Not unless he finds a major sponsor that will pay him millions to race. In fact, I haven't noticed that he's tried top qualify for any races for awhile.

I doubt it, unless he lucks in to a ride with a reputable championship team, and there are other talented rideless guys I'd like to see out there every week such as Boris Said or Wahd Burton......

I saw that same show. Pretty cool. He's a persistent sucker and probably a really great guy, but his time has more than likely past. Not many of them kinda guys left.
