Auto Racing - October 2007

Would someone please explain about the owners' points? How are the points determined? Why is there such a big difference between drivers' points and owners' points in the BUSCH Series ie Edwards vs Burton? Thanks.

I think these guys are pretty equal in driving talent. There's nothing more exciting than when these two guys are competing on the track.

I read a post on here today that got me thinking. There are a lot of late cautions for debris.
These cautions always benifit one or more drivers by tightening up the field.
I don't know about you, but I'm going to be watching to see if one driver is getting the more benifit from these cautions than the others!
If it is obvious I will be able to tell, since I'm looking for it!
This could really effect how I feel about Nascar! I'm already thinking that it's all crooked!

With 3 of the top 5 drivers in Nascar on the Hendrick payroll Rick Hendrick stand to make a killing just off of the souvenier trucks next year. Heck, he's probably already made a ton this year.

RIcky Craven said that Jeff Gordon was the best he's ever raced against...and he's raced against Earnhardt, Petty, Gant, etc.

I want to know what the best(Most Realistic) Racing Sim is. I have NASCAR SimRacing from EA and love it. If you can convince me there is a better one out there though I'll get it and the dream will continue. That is what my wife calls it when I sit hunched over the computer at 1030 at night. Also if you know a place where I can get it cheap I'd like that too!

I think Kyle is a great driver! He is young & immature still but you can't deny that he can drive the wheels off a race car! He has the potential to be one of the best!! Also, he makes Nascar exciting because you don't know what he is gonna do next. He's unpredictable! Which is cool & thrilling. So why all the dislike? Was it Kurt who started the hate? If so, did Kyle have a chance then?

When i posted my question about Bill ELLIOTT/restrictor plates
we still try to rustle up bills feathers here in Atlanta about running that lap, in Daytona now,1987 210.364mph
Now at Talladega,same year1987 [I was there]he posted a qualifying lap of 212.809,and that really scared the h*** out of Nascar !!!but the Daytona lap opened nascar's eye's and got the snowball rolling !!!Unfortunally, it almost cost us some lives,driver's & FANS to finally get something done about it,and that didn't happen,until ''88''with the plates.
