As the year goes by and he has a full season with HMS how will he stand as a quality crew chief?

I think Tony Jr will do great at HMS, everyone will see what a great crew chief he is getting away from DEI, he have to do things the HMS way..He is already a good crew chief, he will only get better... He and Dale Jr will do great together at HMS

Depends on the results he a Junior are able to earn and if they are caught doing something stupid like the other HMS crew chiefs EVERY YEAR!
If Jr doesn't win 3-5 races and get into the chase it would be a disaster! Anything less than that and his reputation for being an elite driver should take a HUGE pounding!
That being said I believe Jr. will step up and perform up to the high standards! It would be interesting to see what happens if he struggles in the first 4 to 5 races of 2008.

Tony will do a great job at HMS, he's getting a head start and I think that will help. He and Jr. work well together and they will have the best of everything next year. It's a big opportunity for both Tony Jr. and Dale Jr. I hope they can make the most of being with HMS and get that championship they so desperately want.

I think that there is as much pressure on him as there is on Jr. Probably more when it comes down to it. HMS will send Eury Jr. packing much quicker than they will Dale Jr. if the team doesn't perform. Dale Jr. said in an interview once that he'd rather not win a championship and have his friends around him than win a championship with people that he didn't know. I don't know if he has that same attitude anymore, but I can tell you that HMS certainly doesn't.
I hope he does well, as it wouldn't be the same seeing Dale Jr. with another crew chief.
