Would someone please explain about the owners' points? How are the points determined? Why is there such a big difference between drivers' points and owners' points in the BUSCH Series ie Edwards vs Burton? Thanks.

The points system is similar, in the amount of points awarded for race results.
In owners points the car gets the points no matter who is driving.
In Busch series, RCR fields the #29 car using Three different drivers this year. Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, and Scott Wimmer.
The same thing happened in 03 when Brian Vickers won the Drivers title in Busch but RCR won the Owners title with the #21 car driven by Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer.
Owners also get points just for entering a car, even if it does not qualify or race in the event. Drivers that do not qualify for an event get no points.
