I read a post on here today that got me thinking. There are a lot of late cautions for debris.
These cautions always benifit one or more drivers by tightening up the field.
I don't know about you, but I'm going to be watching to see if one driver is getting the more benifit from these cautions than the others!
If it is obvious I will be able to tell, since I'm looking for it!
This could really effect how I feel about Nascar! I'm already thinking that it's all crooked!

Every race I look for a phantom/ghost caution.Looks like there are fewer now that the first dozen races.

If someone complains about debris on the track, they are going to throw that caution and get it picked up. With the tires they run, even a small amount of debris is going to wreak havoc. When they have a caution at the end of the race, it is common sense that there will be more debris then, rather at the begining of the race when the cars are in better shape.

There were a few in the beginning of the season. But I
haven't seen to many, if any since Tony brought
it up one time and got chewed out by NASCAR for it.

Good Luck! I don't think there's any single driver that benifits from them, they all do! However if one of the villinous drivers benifits from a 'ghost caustion' then the conspiracy crap starts hitting the fans.

A ghost caution occasionally is lots better than having a piece of brake rotor stuck in the face of your dead favorite driver.

I don't watch for ghost cautions, but you bring up a very valid issue. I'll be watching this weekend...

Oh well! You cant control it so why worry about it. It's like blaming a ref when you lose.
