This is a serious question. Are the drivers on a pure liquid diet for some time before each race? Are the suit built to allow them to go while driving? Both kinds?

Alonso is a genius. He won 3 consecutive Spanish Karting titles, won the world karting title and made his F1 debut at the age of 19. He was the youngest ever grand prix winner, youngest ever pole sitter, youngest ever world champion and youngest ever double world champion.

In the third stint of the Australian grand prix Alonso was 1 second quicker than Hamilton per lap and finished the race 11 seconds ahead of Hamilton. That shows that Alonso was held up by Hamilton for most of the race. Hamilton even said that he couldn't keep up with Alonso in the last stint of the race: "I was pushing as hard as possible but Alonso was quicker so that was that"

If you want proof of Alonso's genius just look at the live timing archives. Alonso's consistency at the limit is quite frightening - His lap times are consistent to the nearest hundredth and sometimes to the nearest thousandth.

Only when Alonso leaves Mclaren will Hamilton have a chance to be world champion.

dale jr winning on sunday i firure he will hit the wall or blow up before half way. if that dont happen i think he might finish in the top ten. but i dont think he is good enough to really win a race unless he was the only one left in the race and i think he would still come in second.

Marketing aside, if that's possible.......The Dodge Charger is the only true "HOT ROD" you can buy for the street in Nascar right now because of it's rear wheel drive and Hemi etc......So why switch to the ho-hum Avenger?

I can see switching from the Monte Carlo SS to the Impala SS because of there long "Hot Rod" history and because there both still available with a potent small block Chevy V8, albiet currently front wheel drive........

The Toyota Camry and Ford Fusion are equally, truly, Boring on the street with a V6 as the best option.

So why would Dodge use the C.O.T. for the who cares front wheel drive V6 Avenger instead of a Purple Plum Crazy colored Hemi Charger?

How many cautions were there at the fall Bristol Sharpie 500 race in 2004?

It was my 1st and so far only NASCAR race I been to. I was so excited, I was going to Bristol! Of course with my luck it ended up being so un-Bristol like. :)

Before last year's F1 race in Monza, there was a clip about the history of Ferrari in F1 on ITV. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what song it is. It's a classical piece, but that's really all I know. 10 points for the correct answer.

modified mini's or pro fours..has any one else noticed that this class is dwindling down to nothing? We recently moved to the midwest from Nevada, and there doesn't seem to be a track that runs this class full time...anyone know why?

I am looking to gift my parents with tickets to Bristol Motor Speedway for an anniversary gift. However I have never been there so I am not sure what sections and rows will provide unobstructed views. A range of rows that are good will work and any sections that I should avoid or look out for. Thanks so much!

Is anyone else pissed off that ABC/ESPN cut away from the post race today to show the show already in progress? How long has it been since Carl won and they CUT AWAY to go to commercials? I thought ABC/ESPN would be a nice change from Fox's coverage but I was disappointed today. I already sent an email to ESPN. If you're mad too please speak up. The disrespect for the fans that these nextworks show is unbelievable! All for the all-mighty DOLLAR. Hope everyone turned off the station.

I had to rewind it, it was hilarious. He was about to be interviewed on camera and he tried to act cool and take a sip of water but the cap was still on. Then he proceeded to act like he was swishing water around in his mouth. My god he such an awkward geek. And it wasn't the kind of bottle with the sippy cap, it was a regular one. Loser...

Here are my top 5 for the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
1) Matt Kenseth
2) Jeff Gordon
3) Denny Hamlin
4) Kurt Busch
5) Jimmie Johnson
Pick your own 5 drivers for the race and try to get the most points (based on the actual points your driver earns) of anyone who answered and you will get the 10 points for best answer unless I have the most points, then there will be no best answer. Good luck!
