Number of wheels is unimportant (MotoGP), and like for like comparisons from the same track would be nice. Thanks.

I am hearing about AT&T sponsoring a car for a team, and Sprint Nextel blocking them. I figured since Cingular already sponsored a car and their parent company SBC buying AT&T and using it for Cingular as well that they would already be in the sport, so whats the big deal about them sponsoring a car.

The only parts the teams can work on is the aero due to the 2010 engine freeze.
Kimi was over a second quicker than Alonso and said he was not pushing the car.
Good drive by Hamilton.

If you don't like NASCAR, why do you post here? Go find something productive to do with your life instead of making a fool of yourself. It amazes me how many people rip on NASCAR fans and yet they seem to think they are better by making themselves look like idiots.

Anybody who has a totally underwhelming performance on a good day, and pulls a bonehead maneuver like he did to Rosberg today, just needs to keep his comments about other drivers/teams to his ol' square-headed self.

Hey, Im a huge fan of F1. Somehow, and without realizing it, I can probably name all the technical directors, top engineers, and technical innovations. Wicked. But I recently read that Alonso once said that he no longer sees F1 as a sport. I've started to think that he may be right, and that the whole things a sham. I dont mind commenators going off on one about mass dampers, traction control and tyre rulings but whats the point. For years we heard about tobacco sponsorship being crucial but now Honda doesn't even have sponsors. Top teams spent $200 mil a year on engines each last year but cosworth did a half-decent job with just $15 mil. Is this all a marketing ploy, is this apparent engineering redundancy necessary? Is this actually a sport if we have no indication as to how a good a driver actually is, or that certain drivers get a job because of their nationality/image?

That cracks me up. How can a customer car, beat the factory team? With all of the money honda spends, they must really be feeling kind of stupid right now. I do not like super aguri. but I think its good they are having some success. Anthony Davidson is a great driver. I raced in karts against him a few times, and he is very talented. But, I REALLY do not like Takuma Sato. He is pretty much the same as all the other japanese drivers in f1, a moving chicane. He is ok in qualifying, but as soon as there is another car near him, I think he is somehow magnetized to hitting them. Anyways, I bet poor old Jensen Button is pretty pissed at his team right now, and rightfully so! Hopefully they can gain some power, and beat the super aguris. Otherwise, I have a feeling honda will be sending the repo man to the aguri factory!

i think the fastest 42 cars should make the field with only 1 provisional spot for the most current past champion and thats it make them try to qualify better then make adjustments during the race so that the best TEAM who can make the correct changes putting a little more on driving skills and the right decisions during the race so that the best car, driver, and team will win also put a road course in the final 10 races so that we get a champion that can drive and be consistent at every type of track nascar races at....and thats the way i would like to see it...just my opinion..because u can look at qualifing speeds every week and there are several cars that are 2-3 miles an hour faster but there not in the top 35 so they go home with some of the faster cars that should be racing........
