Because its all about money nowdays. The more the teams have, the more they want. For an average fan, its now unaffordable as they put ticket packages together at very high prices and hotels have joined in on it by making you pay for 2-3 nights lodging even if you only want 1 night. Thats why they have the nickname NA$CAR

NASCAR is NOT boring. I have been a race face since I was a little girl. When I went to my class reunion, one of the boys came up to me as asked it I was still into racing. If you know what is happening, NASCAR is fascinating. Obviously, you are ignorant to the sport. And, let me assure you that the drivers at real athletes. Anyone who can drive at 150 mph or more for 400 to 500 miles in temperatures of over 100 degrees without a rest, a bathroom break or a snack has to be in top physical condition. Before you say ugly things about NASCAR, you should do some study. You will find that there is a lot to learn and it is very interesting. I consider the statement that NASCAR is boring as a person insult. Where do you get the idea that NASCAR fans watch soccer? I have never watched soccer, but if I did, that would be my business and I would not be a communist. Soccer is big in England and England is not a communist county. Get your facts straight. Some people get involved in golf. To them it is not boring. That's their choice. My grandmother used to say, "Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all thought alike." You must want a boring world where everyone thinks like you do.

First off, the cars are not all the same even though the rules try to make them that way. They do not all have neon paint. All races are not driven on a circular track, ever heard of a road course race. Before you make a comment, know what you are talking about, if you don't appreciate it, don't watch it. To answer your question, NASCAR does not suck.

I always thought it sucked until I joined a Yahoo fantasy league with some friends and now I really like watching the Nextel Cup series--not into Busch series at this point though. Give it a chance.

ive been watching NASCAR since i was an infant. you just have to appreciate the sport. if you dont like it, then dont watch it. just like the first guys said.. its simple. also, i have noticed that it makes it much more enjoyable to watch, when you have a certain driver you root for. i was a diehard Dale Jarrett fan for many years. all the way back when he drove the Quality Care car back in the late 90's. now that he has switched to a Toyota, i cant stand him. im a Ford fan til death!

Nascar is a great sport, give me Formula 1 or motogp anyday but i think that you need a lot of skill to compete in Nascar. For instance look at Juan Montoya, he was consistantly good in f1 but now he is in Nascar he is just another racer.
