They are quite hard to compare, since they are so far apart time-wise. This is Kahne's fourth year, and Gordon's 15th. So, Gordon has a TON more experience. And, it is hard to compare Kahne's career now to Gordon's then, since the competition is WAY harder now. But, I think Kahne will be great with-in the next three or so years. He is good now, but with a little more experience.... He will be unmatched. Will he ever reach Gordon's stats (75 wins, 4 Championships,etc...) No. He started later in his life than Gordon did and as I said before, the competition is way tougher. I do, however, like Kahne better. I like his driving style and personality. Gordon whines while Kasey always tries to look for the positive when speaking to the media. He does get upset (I have been listening to his scanner for a while now), but in front of the press, he tends to keep the complaining and negativity to a minimum.

Kasey Kahne is for sure. Jeff Gordon only wins because the Hendrick teams know how to cheat and get away with it.

Kasey Kahne is the best driver in nascar, thats known throughout the series.Right now they're having some bad luck but that will swing soon.
Jeff Gordan is a very good driver but lets be honest, when he come into the series the eyes of nascar bigwigs lit up with the thought of this young california kid knocking off Earnhardt sr as champion,Knowing it would help move nascar out of the hillbilly, redneck image and into the mainstream where where the money is.Look back and you can see that since Earnhardts been gone Gordan hasn't been so golden.Im not sayin he sucks, but now hes having to earn his wins.

They are both great drivers but seriously Jeff Gordon wins by a long shot. He has 4 chamionships and 75 wins one away from Dale Sr. He has numerous records and he is going to be remembered for life as his first race was at Atlanta in Novermber of 1992 and this was Richard Petty's last race so that will always be a race that is remembered. He has the most road course wins of any driver and is the best overall. Kasey Kahne is a great driver and I like him alot but I will always be a #24 fan as he is the best driver ever in my opinion.

by the record books Gordon is but if you watch the way that Jeff drives these days it is easy to see that Kahne is better he is hungry and tries to win Jeff just goes out there and sits things up for Johnson and then when a point comes in the race he would have to tackle Johnson to win he just starts finding troubles so he does not have to race Johnson he needs to do like Rusty said and retire he has lost whatever he once had.

I am going to go with Kasey because he has a great heart to be a racer and doesn't whine when things happen to him. After his wreck at Vegas he didn't blame Gilliland even though had he not been racing Kasey so hard he wouldn't have taken the windoff the spoiler. Kasey is by far the better driver.
