I was so keen to see how young Hamilton would do, I set the alarm for 2am, when I had worked from 5am until 8pm driving a truck in bad conditions.

I wasn't disappointed, and I thought his debut was nothing short of sensational.

I think the person I would least envy at the moment is poor Alonso, because he really has his work cut out to establish any sort of superiority within the team.

Reikkonen was a very worthy winner, and the Ferrari just magnificent in every way.

As for Coulthard....well.....was he ever up to the task in the first place?

The season looks promising, and although it's early days, dare I predict Hamilton as runner-up in the championship?

I can't wait to see what he can do at a real driver's circuit.

Yes it was a great race Kimi won and it was seen on Speed TV. It is available on most cable or satellite providers ans is shown live. The next is in three weeks from Malaysia and is on at 4:00 a.m. eastern time.

It was midnight here in Canada when the race begun.
Good race, Raikkonen deserved to win. I'm happy for him, he's the first driver since Nigel Mansell in 1989 to win on his debut with Ferrari.

I never went to bed last night, stayed up till the race was over, and what a race it was, Hamilton certainly is one to watch, and as for DC what the hell was he playing at flying over Wurz. Heres to a great season.

I'll assume you're asking about the Australian Grand Prix? We couldn't see it here in the states, but it was mentioned on the BBC news. Looked like a good race!

Yes i watched it,reminded of 2002 and 2004 with the Ferrari's faster by over 1 second.
what excuse will Button come out with when Hamilton on his debut put himself 3rd.
