I don't fully qualify to answer this question right now, because I don't have a car at this time, but I used to race a street stock at Carolina Speedway years ago. I am trying to get another car built right now. I have raced on asphalt and dirt. I think the driver can make a bigger difference on dirt. Asphalt racers can only do so much if the car is a little off.

Fan, not driver. I live in Central Pennsylvania, very big on dirt tracks. When I was married I owned a dirt street stock that my ex-husband drove. I personally love late models. Billy Drake is my favorite. I'm not far from Williams Grove where the WoO sprints frequent as well. Spent my honeymoon night at the Grove...you're not at a real race unless there's dirt in your beer!

My son and grandson both race at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville California - a quarter mile dirt track.

Son races a dwarf car and grandson a 4 banger.

The season starts Friday night and I'm excited!!

I'm a fan, not a driver. I go to Oakshade Raceway outside of Wauseon, Ohio as well as Butler Motor Speedway near Quincy, Michigan. I like the 410 sprints as well as the late models.
