It is well documented that our version of football was established before soccer was ever played. Your ancestral barbarians were probably still kicking goat heads around any patch of grass that could be found. Back then, our rules allowed for more kicking of the ball than it is now, hence, the name "football" was attached. Some years later after soccer was being established, an Englishman who enjoyed association football decided to call it "soccer" so as to avoid confusion. It's a term which is marketed by YOUR companies, in YOUR countries, by YOUR teams, with YOUR money that is earned at YOUR games. We don't have it confused. I'm afraid it's you so called connoisseurs who have had it wrong for a great long time.

And by the way, I happen to enjoy football and soccer no matter where they are played. You might benefit from a little open-mindedness.

My pick is easy, it is Teddy Hart! This guy may very well be the best wrestler in the world (which doesn't surprise me considering he is a member of the Hart family and Bret Hart is his uncle) and would have a chance to prove it to more people if his attitude didn't suck and he didn't get in so many backstage fights (if you don't know, in real life him and CM Punk hate each other). This guy is the total package. He is a great technical and submission wrestler, he kicks *** in high risk moves for a guy his size (he is 6'0), tremendous ring presence, and he has power as well. Also with catch phrases like, "I am the past, present, and future of professional wrestling. All you player-hating sons of bitches want to be me, and all your girls want to see me. What players since 1975 are most like Stan Musial?

1. Hitting: Since 1975, what player or players compare best with Stan Musial?

Don Mattingly, in his prime, was often compared to Musial. George Brett, Garciaparra (prime), and Puckett (best years) might also be similar to Musial. Is this a fair assessement or are there better comparisons?

2: Defense (Outfield): Since '75, who played outfield defense similarly to Musial?

3: Defense (First Base): Who compares favorably with him at first base (since '75)?

is it degrading or something?does it lower your esteem in someone elses eyes, what?we all know thers a time and place for humour and after all this is just basicly a forum so why are ppl so uptight.humuor in my opinion happens to be a very good asset in ma and life.what do you think?
