it could happen but the chances are slim to none. I'm a ans fan and if they restarted the season today, then i believe we could have been 13-3 going in to the playoffs with homefield advantage.

there is one large roadblock waiting to sh*t in Jets followers cereal.. and its the recent England Patriots. Does everybody on the planet imagine that some receivers used to catching passes from Chad Pennington making the replace to a rocket from Brett Favre is sufficient to united statesa. a crew that has rather a lot all their guns except Donte Stallworth... no longer going. Yeah, its outstanding that a legend is on the crew. large deal. He had numerous chemistry with the receivers in eco-friendly Bay. Now the actually guy who's stuck a ball from Favre is Bubba Franks... and he won't be able to seize. As stated in the question, the Jets won't be able to probable imagine that the actually ingredient suffering with them from getting previous the Patriots and making certain a playoff spot became a quarterback. Chad Pennington would have a sally girly arm, yet interior of 30 yards or so, he's deadly precise. And the passing equipment the Jets had used an excellent type of misdirection and move to get separation below. they did not use a vertical passing equipment. Brett Favre prospers on vertical passing. He did the West Coast lower than Holmgren and gained a brilliant Bowl, sure... yet what number circumstances did he launch it at the same time as he felt the rigidity? lots. So sure he can absolutely play... yet he's not any longer the respond to Eric Mangini's prayers. The Jets are about to be a huge disappointment to ny. Can they beat any of the 4 contenders for the AFC identify (New England, Indy, San Diego and Cleveland)? Time will tell, yet I say no. And only to make myself sparkling, i'm a lifelong Packer fan, and have self belief me, Brett Favre can nonetheless play at a specialist Bowl element. yet he's only no longer the lacking piece of the Jets. How demanding will all of us giggle at the same time as Chad Pennington and the Dolphins do more desirable ideal than the Jets? i understand i visit.

Teams with 7 losses WILL NOT get in the playoffs in the AFC. I don't even know why fans of these teams still think they can get in! The conference is just too competitive.

The Bengals and Jags already have the 2 spots right now, and then there's the Jets, Chiefs and Broncos that still have a shot. The Titans, Bills, Dolphins and Steelers can't get in. Sure, mathematically they're still in it, but realistically they're OUT of it.

hey jets fan guy you're team stinks have a little faith in us 6-7 teams you never know what might happen I mean if i'm correct a 6-7 team beat a 10-2 team AFTER returning from a 21 point deficit in the 4th quarter to beat a NY team? huh? you never know what might happen i mean the jaguars might just happen to lose this week and then the bills the week after, and then finally the patriots will have a unfortuante loss at the hands of a specific QB with the intials VY.....

They would have to win out and get some serious help from other teams losing their games.
