can someone please tell me what the deal is with "airsoft" guns?i have no idea what they are about.do people that buy them have battles like paintball?or is it just because they look like the real thing?

Mine is.....
At a child custody hearing a judge has to decide which parent a child shall live with. He asks the child "Do you want to live with you dad?" "No", the child answers. Then the judge says "Okay, so you want to live with you mom?" "No", the child answers again. Then the judge says "Well then, who do you want to live with?" the child answers "The Toronto Maple Leafs, they don't beat anyone." :)

I was recently talking guns with some friends and work and some of them had heard it was dangerous to shoot slugs through an automatic shotgun. Some said it was dangerous to the shooter, some said it was dangerous to the gun. Anyone else ever heard anything along those lines??
