I will be finishing the last Book of the Bible today. I will then begin to reread the Bible again. However, now I want to begin memorizing Bible verses. I would like to try to memorize a verse at least per week. I will devote most of my free time to learning scripture, but I currently work and attend college full time on top of taking care of my family. To those who have memorized Scripture, what way worked best for you?

Christians, it seems impossible for you to repent all the time from the sins you commit daily. You know, eating shellfish, lust, playing football (yeps, you cannot use pig skin for anything), telling your wife that dress really doesn't make her look fat, etc, etc.

Sometimes you must forget repenting from one sin. Or it just slips your mind.

What is the basic assumption in Christianity when that happens? Does your God forgive you for forgetting repenting a sin you committed? Or is it a one way ticket to Hell?

And if God would forgive you for the one you forgot to repent from, why wouldn't others (you know, atheists, homosexuals, etc) be forgiven in that same way? All sins are equal, right?

Seriously, Fruit as we know it is created by a tree so that it may contain seeds and reproduce, like all reproduction, because of the enevitability of death. If there was no death, things must have been totally different. It must have been like not having gravity, so trees could not have been hit by lightning and fall. Was there lightning back then? Was nature still nature without the law or theory of death like that of gravity? Is there is symbolic viewpoint of this subject?

Apparently, when god decided to kill everyone, Noah was ordered to take 2 animals of every kind (male and female). But when those two animals mated with each other wouldn't that mean that their children would have to mate with each other and so on, and if only noah's family was saved.....

Alot of Prodestant groups believe that the creation of the state of Israel is a sign of the end. But I argue the fact that No one can truely say if we are close to the end, even with or without Israel do you think Christ can come back whenever he whats to. I don't believe in all that rapture stuff, it seems to illogical with too many problems. Point is, is it absolute to say the end is coming because of Israel.

I live alone. me and my gf are taking a break. i dont have many friends to hang out with. I am parapalygic and cant drive my car till they put hand controls on it. NOTHING ever goes my way. I need some things cleared up from a practicing mormon.

-Do Mormon use the Bible
-Do Mormons also use a Book of Mormon with complete different writings from the original Bible
-Do you believe Jesus was a white man (not counting thats the overall American visual of Jesus)
-Is it ok to have multipule partners

I don't mean any offense but these are the things that are always thrown out there.
