Alot of Prodestant groups believe that the creation of the state of Israel is a sign of the end. But I argue the fact that No one can truely say if we are close to the end, even with or without Israel do you think Christ can come back whenever he whats to. I don't believe in all that rapture stuff, it seems to illogical with too many problems. Point is, is it absolute to say the end is coming because of Israel.

The end is always coming. After Jesus died the apostles were sure he was coming back within months.

A couple of decades later Paul was writing letters to people telling them to stop giving away all of there possessions because it might be a while till Jesus came back.

Every few years some other group comes up with some new sign.

Israel has been a state for more than 50 years

Is Jesus's bus late or something?

love and blessings Don

Don't be fooled it will come! are you ready?

The word "rapture" does not occur in the Bible. The concept of the Rapture, though, is clearly taught in Scripture. The Rapture of the church is the event in which God removes all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on the earth during the Tribulation period. The Rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Rapture as God resurrecting all believers who have died, giving them glorified bodies, and then departing the earth with those believers who were still alive, who have also been given glorified bodies. "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 focuses on the instantaneous nature of the Rapture and on the glorified bodies we will receive. "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). The Rapture is the glorious event we should all be longing for. We will finally be free from sin. We will be in God's presence forever. There is far too much debate over the meaning and scope of the Rapture. This is not God’s intent. Rather, in regards to the Rapture, God wants us to “encourage each other with these words.”

Well, you'd have to read the Bible to know for sure what they mean when they say that because of the integration of the state of Israel, the signs of the end of the things we know are to pass.
Moreover, the control of Jerusalem by the Jewish people, indicates(1968) a time table for these events. You should know that the Jewish don't believe this part of the prophesy themselves, but that doesn't take away the facts to come according to the New Testament .Funny thing is what you're saying its too illogical, that may be true for you, but for the logic's of the scripture makes perfect sense. Read the Bible yourself, or go ask any serious protestan pastor.

Part of the reason is that Christ predicted the fall of Israel and most of the end times writings have events taking place in Israel. Those prophesies could not happen unless Israel was restored, so the reforming of Israel after nearly 2000 years is a large part of starting the end times prophesies.

Israel is going to play into the end times. This is where the anti-christ is going to set up and Jesus is coming back and placing His feet on the mouth of olives. People that study prophecy in the Bible teach this also. I am looking forward to the end. I believe that the true believers in Jesus will know when the time is getting close (we will never know the day or the hour, only God).

All the 'signs' that Christ spoke about were to encourage those who would follow Him. In our culture, it's difficult to find TRUE followers of Christ. There's alot of religion but little spirituality. In other countries, believers are being beat up, tormented and ostracized but NONE yell about 'rights' or things like that...... not only because they do not have the same freedoms as we do in the U.S. but because they are not attached to this world and are anticipating an ETERNAL home.
Christ used signs to encourage the True Followers that when they see such things, they can rejoice because the end of corruption and the world's system is coming to a close. For those who are not suffering for Christ or who do not care about Eternity, the signs mean NOTHING.

I believe the beginning of the major events leading toward the day of the Lord could begin at any time.

I do not believe Christ could return at any moment now because certain prophecies would remain unfulfilled and God fulfills all of His promises.

You cannot project human conditions to things that exist outside the human cautiousness. There is no End Times. They are human conditions. They do not exist outside the perceptions we all have. We cannot control the destiny of the planet or the universe, period. We may thing that humanity is all powerful but in actuality it's really not.

There are many signs of the end. I understand the state of Israel to be irrelevant.

No...that was just a "beginning" ....the actual "end?" this won't happen for at least a thousand years "plus-plus" (give or take) but, wait for them to re build the temple...."then!' oops! "Peace!"
